A Trip to Lagamar

We went to a school trip to Cardoso Island. It was a very nice trip, and we learned a lot.

To get there, it takes about three to four hours, and we had to take rodovia Régis Bittencourt, to get to Cananéia. Then, we had to take a boat to get to Cardoso Island and it lasted 50 minutes.

The weather was very hot in the morning, and at night, it was a little bit colder, but it was still hot. Sometimes, there were some wind, but it wasn't too cold.

On the way to Cananéia, we stopped in a city called Iguape. There, we went to Morro do Espia, where you could see a small Crist on its top and the whole city of Iguape, and Lagamar. It was a little bit tiresome, but it was very cool.

When we got to Cananéia, we went to Cardoso Island. There you could see beautiful beaches, mangroves, and rocky pools. We also went to the rainforest, called Mata Atlântica. There were a lot of mosquitoes, so a very good tip, is to take insect repellent with you!

In Cananéia, we stayed in "Golfinho Plaza Hotel". It's a very good place, and is really comfortable. In the hotel, there wasn't any food, so we went to some restaurants. There, you can eat pizza, japanese food, and also, some kinds of homemade food, like rice, beans and meat. It was delicious!

You can take coats, because at night it is kind of cold, and a hat, because in the morning it is really hot. A very good tip, is to take running shoes and old clothes, because if you want to go to the mangrove, your clothes will get all dirty !
